SLR X-Cross. The comfortable seat, in the most uncomfortable off-road. The Selle Italia SLR X-Cross saddle is a more comfortable version of the SLR Titanium saddle, with a slightly thicker saddle cover and more padding, but without adding too much weight. The Selle Italia SLR X-Cross is also sturdier and less prone to damage than the SLR Titanium version. Additionally, the sides of the X-Cross Flow have been reinforced for more durability.
Boasting an updated design and functionality, the SLR X-Cross is more than just an off-road saddle. Textured corners combined with a smoother overall surface enable greater freedom of movement on the saddle for maximum comfort on even the most challenging of terrains.
This saddle has a flat rear part, making it highly suitable for riders who remain stationary on their saddle while they ride and whose hips don’t rock from side to side at all. The flat shape provides more support than a round saddle would for these riders.
This is a semi-flat saddle, meaning that the saddle is flat at the front, and raised a little at the back. The shape makes it particularly suitable for riders with a moderate degree of flexibility in their spine. This has to do with how easily these riders can rotate their pelvis: they might need a little extra support when riding upright, but can manage on their own when riding on the drops.

Installation & Maintenance
The seat post can affect the saddle’s structural resistance. The use of unsuitable seat posts can cause the saddle to malfunction and can lead to accidents and personal injury. For this reason, the product has been tested in accordance with the relevant sector regulations. Please check that your seat post is compatible with the information given in Figure 2. The seat post must be used according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Moreover, it is important to observe the recommended torque values, as exceeding the defined values may jeopardise the safety and reliability of the saddle.
