Good but expensive

I've been using this light on all my rides. First, the advantages - It is bright. Very bright. People will actually ask you why it's so bright. You get the idea. It comes with a seat post mount as well as a saddle rail mount which is great because now I use the same light with both my bicycles without having to strap/unstrap or hook/unhook it everytime. Just a quarter turn and the light's ready to shine. I keep it on flash mode - it's the only way I can get maximum battery. Any other mode and it lasts for a few hours at most. With flash mode (the one after the "comet" mode in the user manual), it lasts the maximum. The way the light falls from the bottom creating a glow around the rear wheel is lovely - much needed and provides additional visibility at night. That goes away once it's daylight. It "remembers" the last mode you switched it off in and it restarts in the same mode! That's amazing. No more fiddling with modes once you've settled on a sweet spot.

The not-so-good parts: battery life at highest illumination is quite sad. But then, it's got a bunch of sensors and basically it does the job. Price is quite high for a rear light. It's after all, just a rear light.
