Icetoolz Shimano Cassette Lockring Tool

The ICETOOLZ SHIMANO CASSETTE LOCKRING TOOL is quite an excellent tool.
It is just short of perfection,though. While it sits almost snugly on the cassette lockring, there is a visible play when you use the wrench or spanner on it. This however, does not affect its performance and the lockring loosens up without any damage to the lockring or the tool itself. It is worthwhile to note that the cassette lockring is tightened to 40Nm which requires a lot of force to loosen it up. This tool with its impeccable sturdiness absorbs all the required force and loosens the lockring flawlessly. A cheap tool's hexagonal ends would obviously get stripped when applied with a 40Nm torsional force.
The build quality and finish of the tool is top notch and adds a flair to your tool kitty.
And yes, you don't need to get the one with guide pin. I am sure it doesn't make much of a difference. This tool already fits the lockring without fuss.

Great product for the price. Only recommendation for people buying a cassette too is to go for one with a pin as it gets difficult to hold the tool in place while tightening or loosening the nut.
Used it multiple times to replace the disc and overhaul the hubs, worked perfectly
