My trek marlin 7 uses shimano’s mt200 hydraulic disk brakes and comes with b01s brakepads by default. Shimano claims that these new brake pads last upto 40% longer than the b01s pads. While that remains to be seen since I have only had these for a few weeks now, what i can attest to is that the brake power is significantly better with these pads than those. I have to be gentler on the lever with these to avoid locking up my wheels, i am liking these new pads. Ordered 4 pairs extra just to make sure i dont run out any time soon.
