Design inspired by the first stage of the 2021 La Vuelta finishing in spectacular fashion within the confines of the city’s most emblematic monument, the thirteenth century Cathedral of Saint Mary of Burgos and drawing influence from the spectacular rose window that adorns the southern face of the cathedral. The shades of red and white reference the colours of the region’s official flag.
