How to take care of your Santini cycling and triathlon wear

Here are a few of the secrets that we've learned over the years to keep your kit performing at its best and last longer.

  • Wash it at 30°C / 86°F
  • Do not use fabric conditioner
  • Avoid the tumble drier
  • Avoid using washing powder, favor liquid detergent
  • Turn the garment inside out
  • Wash similar colours together
  • Wash straight away
  • Do not iron


Santini products are designed to meet the needs of professional cyclists at the sport's highest level helping them compete in a wide range of weather conditions. We choose technologies and materials that provide you maximum performance in the saddle. In order to ensure a long life for your Santini garments each item should be handled according to the the following care instructions.

1. How to care for Santini garments:
  • Garments ideally should be washed after each outing, otherwise hang items in a well ventilated room. Garments will maintain the best possible condition if they are washed immedialy after being used. By washing the items soon after riding, the onset of bacteria that can deteriorate the fabric is dramatically reduced.
  • Garments should not be stored in places with high humidity or that lack ventilation. (plastic bag, gym bag, backpacks)
  • When not in use, garments should not be exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time.
2. How to wash your Santini garment:
  • Before washing your Santini garment, turn it inside out(with inner seams exposed).
  • Be sure to close all zippers and velcro closures.
  • Wash your Santini garments seperately from the rest of the laundry.
  • When hand washing your Santini garments, use warm water with a delicate laundry detergent.
  • When washing your Santini garments in the washing machine be sure to use the declate cycling with a maximum temperature of 30°C. It is also recommended to use a wash bag when possible.
  • Do not use fabric softeners or bleaches.
  • Use a light spin cycle.
  • When hang drying your Santini garment, avoid direct sunlight when possibile.
  • When drying in a dryer, make sure to use the lowest temperature setting.
  • Do not iron your Santini garments.

We reccomend follwing this washing and care guide for all types of Santini garments including accessories.

3. How to care for garments with water resistant treatment:
  • All water resistant materials are treated with advanced environmentally friendly treatments without the use of flouride.
  • The highly safe (PFOA free) is based on specific polimers that are highly ramificated and provide optimal water resistant characteristics. The treatment inhibits the exterior layer from becoming saturated to allow the fabric can perform its critical job of wicking and moisture management.
  • The useful life of the water resistant treament varies based on how the product is cared for and how it is washed. The effectiveness of the treatment is guaranteed for 30/50 washes.
  • We recommed washing these garments following the same aforementioned instructions. Fabric softeners will totally degrade the water resistant treatment.
  • Water resistant treatment must be occasionally retreated to maintain it's qualities by using specially design
4. How to care for your seatpad:
  • Each Santini padding is made with advanced hypoallergenic and antibacterial materials. The softness is not affected by washing, the washing actually help regenerate the soft properties.
  • We advise against using chamois cremes that can cause deterioration of the padding material and degrade it's hypoallergenic properties.

IN SHORT: Raise return/exchange request within 7 days of receiving the item. In case of item looking used or wrong item sent, please raise the issue on the same day by email or maximum early next day. After 7 days we cannot help with the issue of "item looks used."

We process returns/refunds for defective/ wrong items received.

For size issues there are no returns/refunds, just exchanges. Exchanges are not promised (to avoid policy abuse) but we generally help, and issue store credit if your correct size is not available with us. Items returned must be sent to us in unused, unworn condition with original packaging, tags 100% intact.

For any issues

  • Check if your item is eligible for return/exchange. All details are in this policy.
  • Email at within 7 days of receiving your item.
  • Please mention your order number in the email, and state the issue.
  • Add photographs of the issue, to best highlight the problem.

Returns and refunds are eligible if

  • The Item was received in a defective/ damaged condition
  • Wrong item delivered

A product may vary slightly in colour from the image shown on the website.

Size exchanges

  • We will exchange sizes for you if the item ordered and received differs from the size chart shown on the website for that item at the time of ordering.
  • Please consult the size chart carefully before buying a product. S, M, L, XL sizing differs brand to brand, match the cm and inches.
  • Take help from the Cyclop team in finding your size, use the chat box on the site.
  • If the item does not fit you for any other reason and you want to exchange it, we will help you at discretion. We generally issue store credit if the exchange size is not available.

Returns/ exchanges will be processed only

  • If the product is unused/unworn
  • In original packaging with tags, manuals, packaging intact (not torn or ripped)
  • If sent with proof of purchase – receipt/ invoice
  • Returned with promotional items sent with the product

Due to hygiene reasons, we will not accept returns/exchanges of jerseys, shoes that appear even slightly used. Intimate-use items like cycling shorts, socks will not be returned/exchanged.

Shipping charges for return/ exchange

  • For defective/damaged/wrong items we will ship back the item at no cost to you.
  • For size returns you are required to ship the item to us with charges borne by you.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

A customer may exchange a product once.

No returns/ refunds/ exchanges for clearance items.

All returns/exchanges must be agreed with the Cyclop team on email before any related shipping is done.



If you report an issue, 7 days after receiving the item, it will be treated as a warranty issue. You are required to contact the brand directly then, or connect with their official representatives in India for direct resolution of the problem.
