Self-adhesive Shelter Off-Road protection is a composite shock and scratch resistant transparent compound with visco-elastic behavior. Shelter Off-Road widely increases the shock-resistance of carbon-fiber or metal structures it applied to.
Shelter Off-Road protects from impacts spreading their energy within its structure, is abrasion and solvent resistant, doesnt yellow and has a semi-structural adhesion to the surface it applied onto normal bicycle washing wont affect it, but it can be removed if needed without damaging the underlying paint.
Shelter-Kit Off-Road comes as a sheet with pre-cut elements specific for off-road purposes, to easily protect sensitive frame areas (chain stays, down tube, cable/frame contact points, horizontal tube against brake levers contact).

UV-Resistant:
The shelter is UV-shielded so it wont turn yellow over time and will even protect the underlying frame paint from UV degradation.

The transmission of vibration energy through any structure can be reduced by introducing visco-elastic materials at discrete points. It exactly what Shelter does, providing stiff carbon frames with protection but also contributing to reducing vibrations.
