Jersey Fit Guide
While everyone wants their bib-shorts to fit close to the body to perform at their best, how a jersey should fit is a very personal matter. When we develop our collection’s tops we do it working on three different fits that define every line within the collection; SLEEK, SLIM, CLASSIC. Have a look at our jersey fit guide below to understand how the different fits work! Remember to check the FIT type on the product page and choose your size according to how you want it to fit on your body!

Sleek "Aero" Fit
Skintight fit, shorter on the front and elongated in the back. Developed with riding position in mind to maximize aerodynamic properties. This is the fit that our pro athletes use for racing. If you like a jersey of our Aero Light range but you prefer a less tight fit, we suggest choosing one size larger.

Slim Fit
Form fitting jersey. Remains close to the body minimizing wind resistance in the saddle. This is the fit that defines Santini. Incredibly versatile as it gives you a sleek profile while maintaining incredible comfort throughout your ride.

Classic Fit
Regular fitting jersey. Soft on the body for those who look for a more classic fit. If you like a jersey of our Everyday-comfort range but you prefer a tighter fit, we suggest choosing one size smaller.

CHAMOIS TECHNOLOGY

Our technologies are crucial to the performance of our garments, and we have developed proprietary chamois brands to highlight the quality and feature levels of differently specced shorts. All the different Santini paddings are designed by us and are handmade in Italy using our specialist manufacturing techniques. We stitch the special curves and depressions on the internal part of the chamois from the inside, so that there are no seams in contact with the skin.

IMG is a triathlon specific chamois ideal for long distance races. The IMG weighs only 52 grams and features the new innovative patented Tower Gel core by Nicolini which is 40% lighter, doesn’t absorb water, and is 60% more flexible than the gel core of our cycling bib-shorts. The structure of this gel is made of small “towers” which are bigger in the ischiatic area and diminish in size towards the edges of the seat pad, offering a high level of shock absorption for up to 7 hours in the saddle. The “tower structure” also enhances the breathability of the padding by 45%, and thanks to its flexibility it adapts perfectly to the body throughout the swim and the run.

STG

STG is a triathlon specific chamois ideal for short distance races. STG weights only 31 grams and features the new innovative Tower gel core by Nicolini which is 40% lighter, doesn’t absorb water and is 60% more flexible than the gel core of our cycling bib-shorts. The structure of this gel is made of small “towers” which are bigger in the ischiatic area and diminish in size towards the edges of the seat pad, offering a high level of shock absorption for up to 3 hours in the saddle.
